We are seeking an experienced First Robotics Competition (FRC) coach to guide a rookie team at our school. The coach will lead a project-based learning initiative, a class that meets twice a week for two hours, and continue work into after-school hours. During build season, the coach will work with students for several hours after school and on weekends to prepare for competition.

**Responsibilities**

  • Lead a project-based learning initiative, guiding students in the design, build, and operation of a robot.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring students meet learning objectives and develop essential skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate robotics into the curriculum.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians through regular updates and progress reports.

**Requirements**

  • Experience in robotics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Flexibility to work after-school hours and weekends during build season.
