Position Summary: The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting a significant highway initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily project administration and engineering tasks on-site.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction engineering activities, ensuring effective communication with subcontractors.
  • Prepare monthly payment estimates and maintain the Project Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.
  • Develop, coordinate, and update project budgets, change orders, and cost reports for review by management.

Additional Duties:

  • Review and validate subcontractor and owner payment estimates before management approval.
  • Supervise cost reporting and project CPM management, leading regular review meetings.
  • Manage the project document control system effectively.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and collaborate on solutions.
  • Compile necessary information for project review presentations.
  • Conduct procurement and buyout services as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in Heavy/Highway projects exceeding $20 million.
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in specialized infrastructure construction.
  • Familiarity with transportation-related electrical systems, ITS, traffic signals, and signage.
  • Preferred experience with JDEdwards software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
