Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Clinton, NJ, as a Municipal Engineer. This role involves reviewing subdivision plans and site plans submitted by developers for approval, administering developer-sponsored projects, and designing capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities
  • Review subdivision plans and site plans submitted by developers for approval.
  • Administer developer-sponsored projects to verify compliance with approved plans.
  • Design capital improvement projects.
  • Evaluate public works issues in our municipalities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of capital improvement, residential, and/or commercial site design experience.
  • EIT preferred.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
  • Knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
