In-House Privacy Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Privacy and Information Security Attorney to join our Corporate Law Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising on enterprise programs related to privacy, information security, risk, and compliance.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy and information security laws and regulations, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. You will be responsible for providing legal advice on federal and state privacy and information security requirements, enterprise risk management, and the compliance and ethics program.
Responsibilities- Advise on enterprise programs related to privacy, information security, risk, and compliance
- Provide legal advice on federal and state privacy and information security requirements
- Collaborate with business leaders throughout the enterprise to ensure compliance with privacy and information security regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with changes in privacy and information security laws and regulations
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one state and be a member in good standing of the bar
- 5+ years of experience with privacy and/or information security laws and regulations
- Familiarity with risk and/or compliance programs
- Demonstrated adaptability, learning agility, and the ability to excel in a collaborative environment
