In-House Privacy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled In-House Privacy professional to join our team at State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on enterprise programs related to privacy, information security, risk, and compliance. This will include providing legal advice on federal and state privacy and information security requirements, enterprise risk management, and the compliance and ethics program.
The In-House Privacy professional will also advise on other programs including information retention, crisis management, AML/OFAC, and business continuity, as well as general technology-related legal matters.
Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice on privacy and information security requirements
- Advise on enterprise risk management and compliance programs
- Collaborate with business leaders and other legal professionals
- Stay up-to-date with changes in law, technology, and business objectives
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one state
- 5+ years of experience with privacy and/or information security laws and regulations
- Familiarity with risk and/or compliance programs
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to excel in a collaborative environment
