Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our thriving team at Emory at Stockbridge - Primary Care. Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients, working closely with physicians to develop care plans and prescribe treatment.
- Document patient interactions and medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, including cast application and removal, wound suturing, and dressing changes.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or certification as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- At least 3 years of experience in Primary Care, with a minimum of 1 year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required, with ACLS certification may be required in some areas.
- Competitive base salary range: $102,000 to $128,000 per year, depending on experience.
