We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Emory at Stockbridge - Primary Care. As a member of our APP team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient interactions and medical histories, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Conduct patient interviews and gather information to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic procedures, including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
- Assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- At least 3 years of experience in Primary Care, with a strong background in patient assessment and treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A competitive salary range of $102,000 to $128,000 per year, depending on experience.
