Emory Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care team at our clinic in Stockbridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our healthcare team, and contributing to the growth and development of our Primary Care services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients by conducting patient interviews, documenting patient histories, and performing physical examinations.
- Document the delivery of care in patient medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians to diagnose medical problems, develop care plans, and prescribe treatment, as needed.
- Conduct patient education on health status, medical problems, and treatment plans, promoting patient empowerment and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a current license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Care, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Primary Care services.
- Competitive salary range of $102,000 to $128,000 per year, depending on experience.
