Primary Care Physician Assistant

Emory Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care team at our clinic in Stockbridge. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing medical problems, and developing care plans.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage patient panels and run independent clinics, utilizing your expertise and judgment to make informed decisions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Document patient care in medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Minimum of 2 years of specific Primary Care experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
