The successful candidate will perform clinical and administrative functions in support of the design, implementation, and management of clinical trials.
The Opportunity:
MaineGeneral Health offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work with a team of professionals who are passionate about contributing to the advancement of cancer science and treatment options.
The Oncology Clinical Trials Research Nurse will be responsible for following good clinical practice guidelines, ensuring the safety of clinical research subjects, and reporting adverse events.
The Work:
The successful candidate will engage in subject screening, recruitment, and enrollment for clinical trials, conduct proper consenting of study subjects, and manage the activities for study participants.
They will also perform detailed clinical assessments of study participants, coordinate clinical treatment, study visits, and follow-up care, and complete case report forms.
You Have:
Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion, required.
At least a year of nursing experience with oncology experience, preferred.
Research nurse experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
