Job Title: Ecommerce Database Strategy and Activation Manager

At Bob Evans Restaurants, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Database Strategy and Activation Manager to join our marketing team. This is a hybrid/remote role that will report to the New Albany, OH Restaurant Support Center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the brand's consumer database strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners to manage database communications that drive business growth. This includes researching and creating strategic approaches to consumer segmentation and implementing a CDP (Customer Data Platform) to drive sales and nurture brand advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a growth plan within the following channels: CRM/CDP/Database, email, text, app, and others as assigned.
  2. Partner with our IT, POS, and CRM teams to source data needed to build a strong segmentation strategy and manage the consumer journey activation.
  3. Manage external partner support teams to create action plans for acquisition and develop creative assets for activation channels.
  4. Act as key project manager for our app guest loyalty program, developing innovative consumer opportunities that drive frequency and push the brand forward.
  5. Support the activation strategy for the brand's go-to-market digital communication plan and develop project timelines to support this strategy.
  6. Track digital and database marketing activity and provide regular updates via a digital scorecard.
Requirements:
  1. Strong understanding of the digital marketplace.
  2. Strong Project Management skills.
  3. Experience with CDPs, email/app database marketing, and consumer segmentation tools (Microsoft Consumer Insight Journeys a plus).
  4. Excellent analytical skills.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  6. Independent, initiative-taking, and elevated level of curiosity.
  7. Restaurant experience preferred.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications or related field required.
  • 3-5 years job-related work experience required.
