Job Summary

As a Human Resources Generalist at Marriott International Inc, you will play a vital role in supporting the management and leadership team with HR-related issues. Your responsibilities will include assisting employees with internal and external transfer requests, monitoring and assisting managers with hiring processes, and coordinating applicant drug screens and background checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with internal and external transfer requests and procedures
  • Monitor and assist managers with hiring processes and issues
  • Coordinate applicant drug screens, background checks, and social security number verification
  • Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation, and transfer request logs
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files
  • Assist with orientation of new employees
  • Monitor hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and files
  • Support processing and maintenance of payroll records
  • Inform Human Resources management of employee relations issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
