Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Sparta, GA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling plant maintenance to maximize productivity and optimize the utilization of manpower, resources, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule plant maintenance to ensure maximum productivity and efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise and direct production crews, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality production and meet quality control standards.
  • Monitor and report daily production and track key performance indicators (KPIs) of plant performance.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Promote a safe work environment and lead daily safety meetings to ensure compliance with company safety policies.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of work experience in aggregate maintenance/production or at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating shift schedules and extended periods of time moving between different areas of the plant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of aggregate maintenance/production equipment and processes.
  • Analytical abilities and comfort with using data to make informed decisions.
  • Project team experience and ability to work in a union and non-union environment.
