Job Title: Plant Manager

This esteemed food manufacturer has been a leader in providing high-quality, fresh, and locally processed products for over 80 years. They are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to join their leadership team and contribute to their continued success.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing, efficiency, inventory, safety, and maintenance for the department and shift. This will involve assessing needs and collaborating with other department supervisors and management to achieve company and facility goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, with 5+ years of experience in management within a food manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is also required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach the team to success, ensuring manufacturing productivity and efficiency
  • Enforce all policies and procedures, both company and regulatory
  • Ensure the safety of all employees
  • Troubleshoot and work with the Maintenance team
  • Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production, including planning and issue resolution

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in management within a food manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary for manufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with data management programs
  • Strong understanding of GMPs and Food Safety
