Handcrafted Wines is a national wine and spirits wholesaler with locations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oregon. We stock inventory from hundreds of wine and spirits producers, and sell and deliver these products to retail stores, liquor stores and restaurants across the entirety of each state. Handcrafted has been in business since 1996 and is actively expanding.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a sales representative role for a well-established sales territory in Tulsa, OK. This position is a hybrid sales role that focuses on off-premise (retail liquor), but also includes some on-premise (restaurant) accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail liquor store owners and managers, driving product sales and merchandising efforts.
  • Cultivate partnerships with restaurant owners and chefs, assisting in the creation of wine lists and cocktail menus that feature our products.
  • Provide comprehensive training to restaurant staff on the details of our products, enhancing their knowledge and ability to recommend them effectively.
  • Collaborate with restaurants to plan and execute engaging wine and spirits dinners that showcase our offerings and create memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

  • Proven self-motivation and the ability to work independently, managing time effectively and achieving sales targets.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting a commitment to building strong customer relationships.
  • Reliable transportation with a clean driving record is essential for visiting accounts and attending events.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, as required for handling product samples and promotional materials.
  • Previous sales experience, particularly in the beverage industry, is highly desirable.
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
