About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled SUE Field Supervisor to lead our field teams in the Glen Allen, PA area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality guidelines, and overseeing the creation and maintenance of field crew schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate multiple field crews to ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget.
  • Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files, and other forms of utility records data.
  • Initiate, track, and process utility records requests with Utility One Call Centers and Utility Owners/Operators.
  • Utilize advanced geophysical equipment, observational skills, and deductive reasoning to identify, designate, and locate utilities within a requested job scope.
  • Perform field audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data.
  • Perform QA/QC of SUE field data and ensure compliance with ASCE standards.
  • Communicate effectively with field and office staff, managers, and clients to relay project information.
Requirements
  • Hybrid position with 75% field and 25% office time.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret utility records data.
  • Experience with advanced geophysical equipment and surveying techniques.
  • Knowledge of ASCE standards and quality control procedures.
