Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator serves as a resource and leader for patients, staff, healthcare providers, administration, and other disciplines. This position ensures that patient care is delivered efficiently, with compassion, and in a courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient flow and coordinate activities for the clinical area nursing unit during assigned shifts.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients, staff, healthcare providers, and other disciplines as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful as a Clinical Coordinator, you should possess:

  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility for compact state licensure.
  • AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications

Academic health care experience and certification in a specialty area are highly desirable.
