About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at TruStone Financial Credit Union. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, resolving their inquiries and concerns, and ensuring that they have a positive experience with our credit union.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Support: Provide universal support to our members related to department operational activities and financial services, effectively resolving their inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Operational Knowledge: Maintain a unique working knowledge of all operational and technical facets of the credit union, its service offerings, benefits, and rules and regulations regarding our members and their accounts.
  • Leadership and Training: Provide leadership, training, and support to co-workers and other credit union staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Independent Judgment: Exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills while safeguarding member information and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm, and rotating Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm at our Plymouth Corporate office.
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1+ years of related financial or customer services experience, preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and sales skills, experience in computer systems with MS Office experience preferred, math aptitude, keyboarding skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work as a team player, being flexible and dependable, ability to work independently, displaying initiative and decision-making skills, ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure, general knowledge and experience working with mobile devices, and ability to use excellent customer service skills providing high-quality, professional support over the phone.
