Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Program Manager to join our team in Tempe. This role will be responsible for managing all material planning and supply chain activities for a key customer or set of customers, as well as managing key or critical suppliers. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate project-related barriers and risks for team members and partners.
  • Manage suppliers through all phases of a product's lifecycle, from contract execution to end-of-production.
  • Work closely with external suppliers and internal cross-functional partners to ensure high-level supply chain performance on commercial programs.
  • Present to the Program Management Office (PMO) and executive leadership on the status and issues affecting schedule performance and program cost.
  • Coordinate and lead collaboration meetings with all supply chain functions to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, plans are developed and implemented, and risks are mitigated for assigned products/suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working with suppliers in a high-tech, space, or High Reliability environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead in a matrix environment to achieve schedule, cost, quality targets.
  • US government position. US citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with supplier development and/or top-tier supplier management.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Technical degree.
  • Experience with ERP system, Oracle, or similar.
  • Experience with PLM, Agile, or similar.

Viasat offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $137,200.00 - $238,600.00 annually, as well as additional cash or stock incentives.
