Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Clothes Dryer Design Engineer to join our North American R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, optimization, and innovation of drying product systems or components. This role requires strong mechanical system/subsystem-level design technical knowledge, innovative thinking, and proficiency in using design software such as UG, Creo, SolidWorks, or CAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for North American Clothes Dryer Research and Development projects, including mechanical component and structural design, feature development, collaboration, and milestone tracking.
  • Design and development of new product appearance parts and functional parts as required.
  • Development of technology for intellectual property development for Clothes Dryers.
  • Improvement of dryer test lab processes to ensure test lab reproducibility and repeatability.
  • Structural design and improvement of related parts of the product.
  • Research of mechanical technology, responsible for organizing technical research on key core technologies focusing on structural design and mechanical transmission.
  • Participation in research on related innovation projects and innovation methods.
  • Cross-functional cooperation with various internal and external engineering teams to jointly carry out project work.
  • Collaboration with project managers and Laundry R&D team on multi-generational technical plan roadmaps.
  • Analysis of field returns and development of design and quality improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; Masters preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years' experience working as a design engineer.
  • 5 years of experience working on Clothes dryer systems.
  • Experience with UG, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other similar software.
