Job Overview

The Route Sales Driver plays a vital role in representing The ICEE Company in a professional and courteous manner. This position requires ensuring customer service excellence, developing strong relationships with store personnel, and achieving in-store merchandising and point of sale objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Load and unload the company vehicle to prepare inventory for delivery and complete daily inventory counts.
  2. Deliver products and promotional items on schedule and ensure prompt delivery.
  3. Discuss new products and promotional items with store personnel and provide training on ICEE equipment operation.
  4. Clean machines, replenish stock, and maintain promotional materials.
  5. Document store-provided PO numbers on invoices and manage COD accounts.
  6. Perform weekly vehicle checks and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 21 years old due to DOT requirements.
  • Preferred 2 years of customer service and/or route driving experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of over 70 pounds.
  • Ability to drive for more than 40% of the workday.
  • Must wear steel-toed shoes.
