Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mechanical repair services following industry standards.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers through honest service.
- Manage shop supply inventory and communicate reordering needs to management.
- Explain service programs and pricing to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Participate in relevant training sessions to further develop skills.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to service excellence.
- Extensive automotive experience is essential.
- A.S.E. Certification in Engine Performance, Engine Repair, and Brakes is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Professional appearance.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Preferred: Smog Inspectors license and Repair Technician license with a FPR score of 3.5 or higher.
- Able to perform heavy-duty mechanical and suspension diagnostics and repairs.
Additional Responsibilities
All team members are expected to assist with general maintenance and cleanliness of the center, including tasks such as mopping and window cleaning. Attendance at team meetings and completion of additional tasks as assigned by supervisors is required.
Working Environment
- Materials and Equipment: Automotive oils, fluids, lubricants, and battery electrolyte.
- Work Environment: Exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and vehicle exhaust throughout shifts.
- Physical Requirements: Good corrected vision and hearing, with frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting.
