Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at the Sioux Falls production plant. As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a section of the production floor, setting up, running, and adjusting manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality plastic film and bag products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow and support all Company safety, GMP, and HACCP policies
  • Make timely adjustments on equipment to maintain strong yields and maximize production
  • Work with maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs
  • Manage a section of up to 6 employees, training, directing work, problem resolution, etc.
  • Perform quality checks

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years' experience working in a manufacturing-related field
  • Ability to operate a forklift, use hand tools, and measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of resin blends
  • Experience operating an extruder and air rings
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the company
  • Ability to read and understand work orders
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, push/pull up to 100 pounds
