AHRI seeks a highly skilled Program Engineer to join our dynamic Certification Team. With over 300 member companies producing more than 90% of the residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment in North America, we strive to make a positive impact on energy consumption and environmental stewardship.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading product testing with certification participants, regional AHRI teams, and third-party laboratories to ensure accurate and timely completion of market surveillance testing. They will also convene Compliance Committee meetings to review annual program performance, maintain and update governing documents, and make recommendations for program changes or new programs.

In this role, you will lead working group meetings with member companies to complete projects and tasks. You will represent AHRI in technical conferences/workshops, meetings, and other venues, preparing technical documents supporting company positions. Additionally, you will work with technical working groups to develop performance rating standards and guidelines.

To succeed in this position, you will require a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering emphasis preferred) and minimum two years of relevant experience. A working understanding of product performance testing, including associated standards and methods of test, is essential. You must demonstrate the ability to define, plan, and execute project deliverables with minimal supervision.

AHRI offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $97,500 based on relevant industry experience. We provide a full benefits package, flexible work schedule, and friendly work environment.
