Shift Details:
12-hour Day/Night Rotations with every third weekend off.
About the Role:
The Cardiac Care Unit at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a specialized 12-bed Intensive Care Unit. Our nursing team provides exceptional care for patients experiencing acute myocardial infarction and related complications, including cardiogenic shock, post-infarction angina, and congestive heart failure. We also cater to critically ill patients with severe cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, and life-threatening arrhythmias. As a cardiac medicine unit, we facilitate the recovery of patients post-CABG, valve replacements, transplants, and LVAD placements.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Applicants with an Associate's degree from an accredited program may be considered if enrolled in a BSN/MSN program within one year of hire and complete the degree within five years.
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at the time of hire.
- BLS CPR certification from AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of recent acute care experience is essential.
- All candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination status as part of the hiring process. Medical and religious exemptions may be considered.
- Applicants requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
