We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Tempositions, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing Management: Review, approve, and process purchasing requests daily, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining raw material levels.
  • Supplier Relations: Research and identify reliable supply sources, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to resolve procurement issues efficiently.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain raw material levels, considering lead times and volume-based price breaks, and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal departments, resolving order status inquiries and procurement-related issues.
  • Invoice Reconciliation: Validate and reconcile vendor invoices to address pricing discrepancies and ensure accurate payments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized files, reports, price lists, and other records in line with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, with a strong understanding of supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
