  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic technologies.
  • Knowledge of foundry operations or large machinery is advantageous.

  • Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Advocate for safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to foster teamwork, resolve conflicts, and enhance problem-solving within the group.

  • Proficient in computer applications.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Lead, supervise, and train the maintenance team, assigning tasks and managing resources effectively.
  • Oversee all data related to preventive maintenance, including issuing work orders and tracking their status.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with schedules and developing contingency strategies as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate preventive maintenance plans for all equipment.
  • Document work order history and parts usage to generate reports on operational expenses.
  • Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel, aiding in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Coordinator to enhance safety programs and training within the maintenance division.
  • Facilitate skill development opportunities for team members.
  • Uphold a service-oriented approach when interacting with all staff.
  • Adhere to the company's quality management system standards.
  • Enforce all company policies consistently.
  • Support the company's apprenticeship initiatives.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
