In the role of General Foreman, you will oversee the management of labor, materials, and production processes within electrical construction initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in the installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems. A collaborative approach with general contractors, clients, and project teams will be essential to achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site production activities while assisting in planning, procurement of materials, and workforce coordination.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to set project objectives, track progress, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Evaluate labor efficiency, adhere to project timelines, and ensure compliance with installation standards and regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all installations, provide guidance to Foremen, and effectively manage material expenditures.
  • Enhance crew productivity, proactively address challenges, and uphold a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Electrical Foreman or General Foreman positions, with a solid understanding of electrical construction, design, and budget management.
  • Possession of a valid Journeyman Wireman license (if applicable).
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, NFPA regulations, and leading project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, power distribution systems, and control panel setups.
  • Skilled in material management, cost forecasting, and project record-keeping.
  • Experienced in scheduling, product installation, and related project oversight activities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This role involves physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy materials, and working in varying weather conditions and noise levels. Candidates should be capable of performing physical tasks, navigating challenging environments, and adhering to safety standards while on-site.
