Position Summary:
As the Senior Manager of Process Improvement and Portfolio Management, you will spearhead global program management initiatives aimed at enhancing Workplace Operations. Your role will encompass the development of project charters, identification of key performance indicators, resource allocation, and the establishment of project timelines. You will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation strategies. Reporting directly to the VP of Operational Intelligence, this position demands exceptional communication and leadership skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with senior executives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a governance framework for Workplace Operations Portfolio Management and create a center of excellence for project management.
- Design, implement, and oversee portfolio management processes, tools, and metrics.
- Ensure adherence to project policies and standards.
- Recruit and manage project teams aligned with strategic objectives.
- Provide executives with insights to evaluate project proposals based on potential value and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects and address implementation challenges.
- Lead global initiatives for Workplace Operations transformations, delivering innovative solutions that meet operational needs.
- Proactively identify and address operational risks within processes.
- Guide and mentor a team of project management professionals to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous process improvement across business units.
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and track improvement progress.
- Understand interdependencies between systems and processes to optimize overall business performance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Establish performance metrics to evaluate the success of process improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in process improvement.
- Encourage a culture of innovation by promoting new ideas and methodologies.
- Provide training and coaching on process improvement tools and change management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in business operations and project management.
- Strong foundation in technical project management.
- Proven ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and managing critical projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a virtual setting.
- Resourceful and approachable, with a capacity to lead change.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate global team interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
