General Overview:

Responsible for enhancing and expanding sales for both current and prospective clients through a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, preferences, and product offerings.

Proactively addresses customer concerns within established parameters and collaborates with clients to identify effective solutions. Cultivates, develops, and nurtures robust business relationships to generate new opportunities and increase sales from the existing customer base. Oversees support personnel and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Production, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, engage in EHS audits and investigations, and set a positive example for colleagues by adhering to all EHS regulations and protocols.
• Manage and support assigned customer accounts as directed by management.
• Foster and sustain business relationships by promoting and selling Hutchinson Industries, Inc.'s products within designated territories and markets.
• Identify and cultivate new business relationships with potential clients in both established and emerging markets as assigned.

• Achieve targeted sales revenue by effectively communicating our value proposition, building strong customer relationships, leveraging advanced technologies, and engaging in face-to-face interactions with clients.

• Generate new revenue streams by actively promoting both new and existing products. Persuade clients of the necessity and value of the products offered. Ensure adequate production infrastructure and capabilities to meet varying production demands.
• Assess customer business needs and prepare and submit both formal and informal proposals and recommendations.
• Provide ongoing market assessments and account performance evaluations.
• Develop a quarterly sales call strategy and activities for assigned accounts.
• Generate and distribute reports related to assigned responsibilities.
• Travel domestically to fulfill assigned duties.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Work overtime as necessary.
• Support Sales and Marketing teams as required.
• Assist in orienting clients with product information, pricing, and new service contract opportunities.
• Accurately process internal and external customer transactions such as orders, requests, and quotes. Serve as the primary contact when necessary. Collaborate closely with production to ensure timely shipment of all orders to clients.
• Communicate with production and purchasing departments to obtain lead times for both new and existing customer orders.

Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in business sales and/or engineering.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for viewing a computer terminal, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception for driving, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment:
The following list of PPE is required while in the manufacturing area.

• Safety Glasses conforming to ANSI Z87.1 or higher
• Steel Toe Safety Shoes conforming to OSHA General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910
