We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an outpatient per diem capacity. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implement treatment plans and protocols according to current professional and health system standards
- Assess educational needs of patients and families, and implement effective education and training strategies
- Complete all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement
- Participate in clinical education and supervision of students and other professional educational endeavors
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA)
