Per Diem Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our team in an inpatient and outpatient setting. As a Per Diem Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy intervention to a diverse patient population under the supervision of the Therapy Manager or Professional Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial examinations, establish appropriate goals, and implement treatment interventions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other disciplines when indicated and assume responsibility for all documentation requirements.
- Provide training to families or care partners and medical personnel as needed.
- Recommend appropriate durable medical equipment and write letters of medical necessity when required.
- Participate in discharge planning, make recommendations for continued physical therapy, and provide home exercise programs when appropriate.
- Attend all appropriate conferences, rounds, inservices, and meetings.
- Be assigned additional patients as needed to ensure adequate staffing.
- Maintain therapy attendance records, patient charges, and statistics.
- Participate in the supervision of Rehab Patient Care Associates, volunteers, and students.
1 year of experience is required for this position.
