Position Overview:
We are looking for a qualified professional to assist in the establishment and execution of a monitoring framework for reputational and strategic risk.

This position will report directly to the Head of Strategic and Reputational Risk, providing visibility at the highest organizational levels.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining policies regarding reputational and strategic risk, while addressing inquiries from regulators and auditors concerning practices in these domains.
  • Facilitating discussions on reputational risk within the designated first-line governing committee.
  • Evaluating strategy formulation and execution at both the enterprise and business unit levels, and creating metrics to assess risk.
  • Engaging in reviews of products and processes that may pose reputational or strategic risks.
  • Monitoring industry trends and assessing their potential implications for the organization.
  • Leading discussions with senior leadership on strategic matters.
  • Establishing and maintaining metrics (including RAG ranges) related to reputational and strategic risk, and preparing quarterly reports in these areas.
  • Creating a stakeholder scorecard to evaluate the institution's standing with shareholders, clients, partners, regulators, and communities.

Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in the financial services sector, with a solid understanding of reputational risk and its implications for financial institutions.
  • Preferred advanced degree.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven experience in engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in risk management principles and financial products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
