We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Technician to join our team at Inova Health System in Boston, Massachusetts.


Job Summary:
The Critical Care Technician will work in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily living needs, monitoring and reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs.
• Respond to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, monitoring patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.

Requirements:
• Must have recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care.
• Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program at the time of hire, OR
• Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed at time of hire.
