The Mechanical Assembly Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of assembly professionals to achieve exceptional results in teamwork, safety, quality, employee performance, and customer satisfaction. This role will also participate in the training of employees and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate the assembly team to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide feedback on employee performance to the manufacturing manager and complete performance reviews as required.
- Assist in the assembly of assigned jobs and perform spot inspections to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare accurate updates for the production schedule and notify team members of any issues or concerns.
- Ensure proper documentation of Blue Book (Quality Document) for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other team leads to ensure proper flow of parts and assemblies to meet production deadlines and budget requirements.
