Job Summary:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team. As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling and building machinery and heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and build material handling systems, palletizing systems, and other heavy equipment for paper converting, packaging, and electrical distribution industries.
  • Work from blueprints, installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, building enclosures, installing motors and gearboxes, wiring electrical components, and testing completed projects.
  • Use air and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2+ years of mechanical assembly, assembly, mechanic, maintenance, or relevant experience.
  • Experience working from blueprints, building plans, or manuals.
  • Comfortable using air and power tools.
