About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Line Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Oshkosh, WI. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Identify and report any major injury hazards to maintain a safe working environment and comply with HSE standards.
  • Promote Environmental Responsibility: Minimize the negative impact of your work on the environment and contribute to the company's sustainability efforts.
  • Enhance Quality Standards: Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality manufacturing processes.
  • Support Quality Inspections: Raise quality concerns and support inspection activities to minimize costs and exposures.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, safety, and employee development.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Keep a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks, to support a productive and safe manufacturing environment.
  • Adapt to Change: Remain flexible and perform miscellaneous duties as required to meet manufacturing goals and navigate dynamic work conditions.
  • Foster Teamwork: Communicate effectively with your team and support teams, and complete training and personal development to ensure clear communication and continuous growth.

Education/Experience
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Minimal or no work experience required.
Additional Information
  • Hours are 7am-3:30pm.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • General understanding of basic mechanical hand tools is preferred.
  • Assembly or mechanical experience is preferred.
  • This is a general assembly position assembling large axles and transfer cases using hand, electric, and pneumatic tooling.
