Job Summary

The Crater/Mechanical Assembler position at Regal Rexnord Corp requires a skilled individual to prepare bulk container handling equipment both mechanically and for simple electrical assembly. This role involves working in a safe manner, fostering a safety culture, and utilizing hand tools proficiently to perform various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and follow blueprints to assemble conveyors
  • Achieve clean and desirable assemblies
  • Follow clear verbal and written instructions
  • Utilize hand tools to perform structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, and mechanical assembly
  • Complete quality assurance checks for the Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. Blue Books through inspection process
  • Provide accurate documentation skills, including labor reporting, timecards, and picklist and travelers
  • Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown, skidding, and crating
  • Follow crating standards for preparing for shipments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Working Conditions
  • Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production/technical nature
  • Work near moving mechanical parts
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
