Key Responsibilities- Read and follow blueprints to assemble conveyors
- Achieve clean and desirable assemblies
- Follow clear verbal and written instructions
- Utilize hand tools to perform structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, and mechanical assembly
- Complete quality assurance checks for the Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. Blue Books through inspection process
- Provide accurate documentation skills, including labor reporting, timecards, and picklist and travelers
- Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown, skidding, and crating
- Follow crating standards for preparing for shipments
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production/technical nature
- Work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
