Job Overview:
As a Food Service Substitute, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe food service environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, serving meals, and ensuring that all food service areas are kept in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of food service facilities and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
- Clean and sanitize serving areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches and preparing fruits and vegetables.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in food handling.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Demonstrated patience and understanding towards students of various age groups.
- Capacity to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with children and adults.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing between 20 to 50 pounds as necessary.
