Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide, Senior to join our team at North Park Post Acute. As a key member of our culinary services team, you will provide assistance and support in all food functions, including preparation, processing, and delivery to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook as requested
  • Help with meal preparation in accordance with patient dietary needs
  • Timely setup of meal service, maintenance of food carts, and delivery of meal trays
  • Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up
  • Keep work areas clean, including sweeping/mopping floors, sterilizing countertops, and wiping down storage areas
  • Wash and clean cooking equipment, utensils, meal service trays, and dispose of food and waste per facility regulations
  • Prep food supplies for the next meal
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
