Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in a 3rd shift overnight position.

This role involves working closely with clients, staff, and the community to provide exceptional care and support.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $17.00 per hour, plus shift differential of up to $1.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with intake process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into our program.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, both verbally and through detailed client logs.
  • Listen to clients' concerns and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment.
  • Coordinate activities and ensure clients' schedules are followed daily.
  • Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting.
  • Monitor medication lines and responsible for conducting searches upon intake or as required.
  • Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide input for treatment plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Some mental health experience, although this can be an entry-level role.
  • Experience facilitating groups or activities is preferred but not required.
