About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our Core ML organization, driving ML excellence for Google and the world. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that transform how billions of users interact with information and each other.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable software systems, leveraging expertise in machine learning algorithms and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical direction and lead project teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and triage product issues to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to documentation and educational content, adapting to product updates and user feedback.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data structures and algorithms.
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with cross-functional and cross-business projects.
