About the Role

We are looking for a talented software development engineer with a strong background in networking and Python. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a deep understanding of computer networks, including mac addresses, IP addresses, ports, and their interactions. Extensive experience with Python is required, as well as knowledge of professional software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop services that help run our cloud architecture
  • Work with a team of engineers to build and deploy security services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of software development experience
  • Strong networking knowledge, including a deep understanding of mac addresses, IP addresses, ports, and their interactions
  • Extensive Python experience
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Wi-Fi and other wireless networking protocols
  • Docker experience
  • Linux expertise focused on low-level networking
  • Experience using Python to create basic network-based APIs
  • Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudTrail
