Position Overview:

As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing cloud technologies to enhance our operational capabilities. Your expertise in building, managing, and securing container platforms will be essential in addressing complex challenges faced by our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive experience to optimize the software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to production monitoring.
  • Implement cutting-edge cloud technologies to enhance client environments through effective container management.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to provide strategic insights and design solutions that meet their needs while adhering to industry standards.
  • Recommend and implement tools such as Kubernetes to facilitate secure container adoption and management.
  • Expand your skill set in Containerization and Microservices while contributing to the development of critical cloud platforms.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in deployment, release automation, or orchestration.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in supporting cloud applications or infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices, including automated server or network configurations and large-scale software deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to obtain relevant security certifications within six months of hire.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in identifying and implementing automation solutions to enhance user experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
  • Knowledge of system integration using various protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML.
  • Experience with configuration management using JSON, YAML, or XML.
  • Familiarity with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model or DevSecOps Maturity Model.
  • Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Google Certified Professional – Cloud Architect.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
