About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience buying and selling cars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through the sales process, from initial contact to final sale.
  • Conduct vehicle condition assessments and communicate information to buyers to ensure accurate appraisals.
  • Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of vehicle inventory, and perform cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards.
  • Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies regarding customer contracts.
  • Create service appointments and review repair order invoices for retail service work performed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Display confidence in self, the product, and CarMax.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite required.
