Job Overview

Position Summary:

As an integral part of our team, you will deliver Energy Maintenance and Commissioning services aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of refrigeration, building, and HVAC systems. Your efforts will contribute to improved store conditions while optimizing energy consumption. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Energy Maintenance Equipment Controls.
  • Program and manage Energy Management controllers.
  • Install and configure Energy Management systems.
  • Adjust refrigeration system operations for enhanced efficiency while ensuring optimal temperature maintenance.
  • Administer the preventative maintenance program.
  • Respond to service calls to support fellow technicians.
  • Work on a variety of equipment including refrigerated cases, compressors, condensers, controllers, electric panels, EMS wiring, case wiring, lighting, HVAC systems, hot cases, and anti-sweat devices.
  • Maintain and manage inventory for vehicle stock.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas to meet standards.
  • Exhibit the ability and willingness to promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements positively.
  • Handle stressful situations with tact and composure, leaving a positive impression on associates and customers.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player to foster team morale.
  • Communicate and interact amicably with team members, including associates and supervisors, demonstrating consideration for others.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in maintenance or relevant educational background.
  • Possession of an EPA refrigerant license.
  • Experience with Energy Management systems.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
  • Capability to program Energy Management controllers.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Ability to travel independently.
  • Capacity to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all management levels.
  • Availability to work weekends and overnight shifts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new software skills.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, prioritization, planning, and deadline management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, positive attitude, sound judgment, and the ability to garner support from others.
  • High level of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC expertise with experience in all store equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to changes in schedule, processes, and daily tasks.
