Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Energy Maintenance Equipment Controls.
  • Program and configure Energy Management controllers.
  • Install and set up Energy Management systems.
  • Optimize refrigeration system operations to improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate temperature levels.
  • Administer the preventative maintenance program.
  • Respond to service calls to support fellow technicians.
  • Work on a variety of equipment, including refrigerated cases, compressors, condensers, controllers, electrical panels, EMS wiring, case wiring, lighting, HVAC systems, hot cases, and anti-sweat devices.
  • Manage and control inventory for vehicle stock.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas to meet standards.
  • Effectively communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to team members.
  • Handle stressful situations with composure and make a positive impact on associates and customers.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to team morale.
  • Engage and interact positively with team members, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in maintenance or relevant educational background.
  • Possession of an EPA refrigerant license.
  • Experience with Energy Management systems.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
  • Capability to program Energy Management controllers.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Ability to travel independently.
  • Capacity to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all management levels.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overnight shifts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new software.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, positive attitude, and good judgment.
  • High level of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC expertise with experience in all store equipment.
