Your expertise will enhance the operational efficiency of refrigeration, building, and HVAC systems, ensuring optimal store conditions while minimizing energy consumption. You will embody and promote the core values of our organization, including respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Energy Maintenance Equipment Controls.
- Program and configure Energy Management controllers.
- Install and set up Energy Management systems.
- Optimize refrigeration system operations to improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate temperature levels.
- Administer the preventative maintenance program.
- Respond to service calls to support fellow technicians.
- Work on a variety of equipment, including refrigerated cases, compressors, condensers, controllers, electrical panels, EMS wiring, case wiring, lighting, HVAC systems, hot cases, and anti-sweat devices.
- Manage and control inventory for vehicle stock.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas to meet standards.
- Effectively communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to team members.
- Handle stressful situations with composure and make a positive impact on associates and customers.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to team morale.
- Engage and interact positively with team members, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous experience in maintenance or relevant educational background.
- Possession of an EPA refrigerant license.
- Experience with Energy Management systems.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
- Capability to program Energy Management controllers.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Ability to travel independently.
- Capacity to manage stressful situations effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all management levels.
- Willingness to work weekends and overnight shifts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new software.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, positive attitude, and good judgment.
- High level of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC expertise with experience in all store equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
