Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Services Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring the best possible health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care as directed by healthcare practitioners, utilizing your critical thinking skills to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C, or successful completion of EMT Training Course.
  • MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within ninety (90) days of hire.
  • CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date determined by the region you work in.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred.
