Job Title: Paramedic - Emergency Medical Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at AMR Seattle. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical services to our community.

Job Summary:

The Paramedic will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care and transportation to patients, and working collaboratively with other emergency responders. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical and mental stamina, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and transportation to patients
  • Work collaboratively with other emergency responders, including firefighters and police officers
  • Maintain a high level of physical and mental stamina to perform duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements:
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training and certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/CPR) certification
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Emergency vehicle operation knowledge
  • Radio communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of medical supplies and equipment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Acceptable driving record
