In the role of a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Clinical Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to conduct essential fittings for custom knee braces. You will provide education to patients to ensure that each DME product meets its intended clinical objectives. Our goal is to guarantee that our patients experience comfort and safety throughout their treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine patient records to prepare for brace delivery and establish daily targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation on a daily basis.
- Assist in guiding patients through the practice.
- Measure and fit the prescribed braces accurately.
- Make necessary adjustments and re-fittings as required.
- Ensure precise recording of patient bracing data.
Required Skills
- Experience as a medical assistant (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical office systems and procedures
- Strong time management abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks
- Social awareness and a service-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

- Certification as a medical assistant
